Xiaomi recently launched MIUI 9, the newest version of its custom user interface at an event held in Beijing, China. The brand new MIUI 9 is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat, and comes loaded with three key features, which are: Smart assistant, Image search, and lastly, Smart app launcher. This set of features is said to give a thoroughly smooth user experience.

Here’s how the three key features are going to be:

Smart assistant: This feature lets you search for anything on the phone, be it pictures or texts. It will also guide you by bringing up app suggestions along with search, news, and a list of other widgets that are customizable. It has been asserted that with the global roll out of MIUI 9’s ROM, the smart assistant feature will be actually eligible to be compared with Google Assistant.

Image search: This cool feature can now let you search for any images on the phone by keywords that exist in the images.

Smart app launcher: As the name suggests, this feature launches apps based on the contents surfacing on the screen. For instance, if you are talking about going to a place, the Smart app launcher can open Maps for you. Similarly, it can open various texts on a celebrity, if you have reading an article on him or her.
