Everything you need to know about the soon to launch in India Moto G5S Plus
Popular mobile phone brand Motorola owned by Lenovo is all set to launch its first ever dual-camera set up smartphone in India on Tuesday at an event taking place in New Delhi. The much awaited handset is called the Moto G5S Plus and had a global launch only a few weeks back, and is now all ready to make its debut in India, with a price tag that’s said to be lower than 20,000 INR.
The key feature on the Moto G5S Plus is the presence of dual camera on its rear end. Boasting of two 13 MP cameras, the brand new smartphone now enables users to click pictures with a blurred background, resembling clicks on a DSLR (bokeh effect). The smartphone also promises of much better clicks in low light conditions.
Coming to the design of the handset, it is quite impressive in an all-aluminum body that is paired with ultra curved edges. The overall look has got a little redesigned shell, and one of the most interesting aspects of its design is that the handset doesn’t have even a single plastic part and it is completely composed of glass and metal.
Another intriguing feature on the Moto G5S Plus is that unlike its predecessor G series of Moto, this one comes with a fingerprint scanner, which is located right under the front screen. Coming to the display, the phone boasts of an exquisite 5.5-inch screen, with a screen resolution of 1080P and comes decked with a 3000mAh battery.
In terms of the hardware of the Moto G5S Plus, it comes loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, and according to reports, users will be able to choose from two variants of the handset, from which the base level comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage, while the higher variant will come with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
As of now, the smartphone runs on the pure form of Android Nougat and is expected to be upgraded to Android Oreo in the months to come. While there is no accuracy so far on the price of the Moto G5S Plus, sources say that it will be something below 20,000 INR.
In the market, this brand new Moto handset is all set to compete with the likes of Redmi Note 4, Nokia 6, and the brand’s own Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus.
